Hey there, I’m Annie Rodriguez, mover, mama and founder of Intero Pilates.

woman with long hair and black leotard

I’ve always been drawn to movement,  not just as exercise, but as a way to feel more connected to myself and the world around me. As a professional dancer, I spent years training my body to push and perform, but even after years of high-level movement training, I didn’t fully understand how my body actually worked.

Pilates changed that. Instead of asking my body to simply perform exercises, Pilates taught me to understand the mechanics & magic behind movement.

And my body felt stronger. Pain and injury patterns began to shift. I was able to do more with less effort, and moved with clarity and connection more than ever before. But like many people juggling real life, career, kids, creative pursuits, that connection wasn’t always easy to maintain.

And life shifted again.

Becoming a mother brought an entirely new relationship with my body, one that required patience, recovery, and a different kind of strength. My body felt unfamiliar, my time felt limited, and the old ways of “working out” no longer made sense. I needed movement that supported my energy, health, and longevity, not something that depleted it.

Over time, these experiences shaped the philosophy that became Intero Pilates. I felt calmer, more centered, clear and free. Most importantly, I began to feel at home in my body again.

I created this studio for people like us who want to feel strong, capable, and energized in their bodies without burning themselves out trying to get there.

Here, movement isn’t about punishment or perfection. We focus on understanding your body. Because when you understand how movement actually works, something remarkable happens:

Movement becomes easier.
Strength becomes more intelligent.
Results become sustainable.

At Intero Pilates, our work blends classical Pilates training, biomechanics, and my Interosomatic ELEMENTS™ framework to help people in their bodies for the long run.

The most rewarding part is that moment it clicks, when you feel a new connection in your body and realize you’re capable of more than you thought.

With a background in classical Pilates and dance, I help you build strength, improve mobility, and feel better in your body for the long term.

I’m here to help you take care of you.
